In todays Newark Star Ledger front page--above the fold  inder the headline "Sarah secret non-admirers"

http://blog.nj.com/njv_bob_braun/2008/0 ... _like.html

from the article:

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- He said he was "stunned" and "heartbroken" about the choice of Sarah Palin for vice president.

"John McCain just gave away his best argument: experience. It's going to kill us in New Jersey. How does a man in his 70s turn the vice presidency over to someone who's run a state with fewer people than a New Jersey county?"

But all that angst was off the record. On the record, the same man said Palin is "an exciting choice who will really energize the base."

The man who spoke is well-known, an elected official, a true party leader -- but forget about getting candid answers about Sarah Palin from New Jersey delegates here if they know they're on the record. Or if someone close by might overhear them.

Call it Sarah-schizophrenia.

commentary:

good bye to any chance of winning ANY new England or Mid-atlantic state. :D
