Q: Is BTF folding?

A: As far as I know BTF is not going anywhere, domain is good for another year.

Update: While the administrator staff is busy with life issues, we are still not going anywhere and Brunski is totally committed to keep things moving ahead as time permits. Jess and Brien still own this forum/blog with Brunski still providing support any and every way he can.

Q: What was the cause of the outrages the past few months?

A: The hosting bill was not paid on time and the account was suspended. Both times Brunski put a band aid on the problem to get fixed later. Jess schedule is really busy with all that she does so it possible for her to miss paying the bill and does not relate to lack of money as far Brunski knows.

Update:Obviously since BTF is now part of Brunski Technical Services clients on it server this should not be a problem unless there something wrong with the server itself.

Q: Why was the hosting moved?

A' The hosting was moved to Brunski's VPS (virtual private server) to prevent additional outrages if possible, also makes Brunski aware that the hosting functional (both times he was aware of the fact later). This move also makes a cost saving method for the site. Brunski made the move on his own to prevent future problems and does not change anything regarding ownership or other such issues.

UPDATE: BTF was moved to a new dedicate server as part of Brunski Technical Services moving to one, the total setup cost a little over $900.00+ a month (covered until March of 2015)


Q: Why is blank post/topic missing?

A: For some reason certain posts/topics did not move over during the import, please let Brunski know about it and he will remove them manually sorry for the trouble.


Update: Q. Will there be any new changes coming for the BTF forum/Blog?

A. There is in the plans to update and add income generation for the forum and blog, all current users will be exempted from seeing these ads (except on the blog since that would require an actual login) for help offsetting the costs of running them.

I'm not partial to PayPal, but let me know if there is another way to possibly contribute money to the forum if it's needed to keep it going another year. I know that vBulletin costs can get up there, and am not sure if the php hosting does or not.

I did find one post that seems to be missing. Shanty's "The man who brought JoPa down". I went to read it and it says unavailable. Glad the site is back up though.

I remember a few years ago, I mailed a check to Jess. They might have moved since. I'm not a fan of PayPal either.

vbultien requires a yearly membership fee to get updates, however that not the case with phpbb/wordpress just the standard hosting costs. I was unsure my fix would be permanently until i got ahold of Jess so I made the transfer on the safe side which is paid up until July 31st. The site is on it own control panel so it can stay there. If there is a strong intrest in donating to the hosting I will try to think of a way to make it happen later in the week.

Sorry guys.. lots of medical problems + lots of therapy/doctor appointments + 3 kids + plus extremely demanding job = little time, little money at the moment, and a lot of scatterbrained moments.

I swear I don't mean to make this page lapse, even if I'm not posting on it.. Sorry for the recent issues!
