The Marist poll is out with a new string of swing state numbers, gathered mostly in the last 5 days, and they’re very favorable to Obama.

In New Hampshire, Obama leads by 6%.

In Iowa, Obama leads by 10%.

In Pennsylvania, Obama leads by 5%.

In Ohio, Obama leads by 2%.

And in Michigan, Obama leads by 9%!

I don’t really know what to make of the Michigan numbers, or even the Ohio numbers as most polls are showing McCain with a 2-5% lead there now, but the other 3 look fairly in line with what other polls are showing in those states, so it seems possible that Obama could be gaining in the rust belt. The Ohio numbers are a bit old however.
