I know alot of people, particularly Kathy, were pretty high on Kathleen Sebelius for the VP nod, but I think her speech just now should show why it’s probably a good thing Obama didn’t pick her. It was just awful. Granted she got some on message digs in, but that might be one of the most emotionless, tepid, convention speeches from such a major figure I’ve seen. Add in that she kept talking over her applause lines and she pretty clearly has a ways to go before she’s ready for something like the Vice-Presidency. She’s certainly a competent Governor, and I sincerely hope there’s a cabinet or other administration post available to her if she wants it, but such a prominent surrogate position just isn’t for her.
