TNR has an interesting piece running about Sonny Vaccaro’s conversion, and his new war against the NCAA.

Frankly I think the NCAA business practices are criminal. It’s a joke that I have an Ohio State #7 jersey that I knew full and well represented Ted Ginn Jr. when I bought it, but Ginn didn’t get a penny in royalties for the school and the NCAA profiting off of his likeness. Same thing goes for the college video games with player’s named “position-number” who just happen to share a number, biography, stats, and so on with real life players.

I say break the racket up, and kudos to Brandon Jennings and others like him for telling the NCAA he’s going to get his, not them.
