New Q Polls

I generally like Quinnipiac because they do larger sample groupings than most, and today they’re out with a new grouping of swing state polls.

As always, it’s early, but you can certainly establish a baseline at this point. And as far as Wisconsin and Minnestoa go, it’s starting to be fair to push them to the edges of the “swing state” world. This is the 3rd poll this month to give Obama a lead of 9% or better in Wisconsin, and the 4th (out of 6) to give him a double digit lead in Minnesota since the 1st of May. In fact, discounting SurveyUSA which seems to be a clear outlier in the state, the last time McCain was within single digits of Obama in Minnesota was back on March 19th, in Rasmussen’s survey.
